I ran one on k5 project..... It had way more power than I ever needed.... Don't be afraid of them.... Only downfall is the 1/2 inch cable is extremely stiff

It's 7/16 .... Good to hear some sort of feed back ... Iv seen some other post on diff sites and only one guy seemed to have one and it was only for a few months ... He liked it tho ... How long have u had yours ?

2 years, they downsized the cable due to the fact the 1/2 inch was really hard to spool back up.... We drug a jeep on 44's buried to the axles n sand out with it and it didn't even grunt.... They are also rated at 17500 on a verticle lift not a horizontal pull... Book says it will pull 69k lbs up a 6% grade.... Not as fast as some winches but extremely effective

Any chance they make a PTO one? I would love to slap a pump on my tranny and run it that way, run full power and full speed all the time!

I'd trust it to run long enough for that...if its not running the batteries will only last for so long, big winches take a whole lotta juice!

You can always re-charge or swap in fresh batteries, but when the motor is dead, it's dead.
