The red truck heads back into the shop. The goal was 600 hp, on 38s & 24s.
Well we dynoes 575 and ran a 13.4 with room for improvement. All that means is we did not hit 600 on a single, so the truck is getting torn down again. We have a parts list all lined up, still tweaking and finalizing a few things, but we WILL hit 600 at the tire, as soon as we do, the truck will be brought back in again for some upgrades yet again to see what we can get out of the red truck. as always, i wll keep photos and progress of the build, i expect the first part of this build to start in the next week or so, and have the truck ready for dyno in a month or so. I will update with a parts list soon as we finalize it, but it will surely be extensive

Thats the idea, although i cant seem to keep the shop empty long enough yet to get my truck in there, but well make some space!

What is the current setup? obviously more than a cat back exhaust.....

yes just a little more than that:
right now
205/100s
66/71
built sun coast trans
and all the supporting mods

turbo is already off the truck, gta trailer it down to the shop to get the injectors out and start mapping out the new items...

parts list to follow next week!

ok so time for a parts list update: After some long conversations with Craig at MPD here is what we have put together

This will be done in two stages, the first stage is so we can achieve the 600 rwhp goal on fuel only without sacrificing wheel and tire sizes The second stage of the build will only be done after we reach 600:

First Stage:
steed speed manifolds
divided up pipes
cast 366 (66/74/83) t4 divided
and MPD 265/150s

With out a doubt this should get 600, infact im sure the original 66 i had would have reach 600 with some fine tuning.

Once we reach 600 on the single fuel only set up we will head in this direction

Stage II
MPDs compound set up with a s480

This should be plenty of power for the red truck, Reason I am going to do it this way is so we can 1) reach or original goal 2) this will allow us to give an accurate measure of how much HP the compound set up will add.

We are very excited to run this kit, hope for the first stage to be completed by the end of the month (provided i can keep my shop cleared out long enough)
