red truck

hi everybody, need help choosing between black or chrome wheels on a red truck i am stumped. any pictures or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Go with chrome....I've never been a fan of black rims so I'm a bit biased. Either way I think the only time black rims are acceptable are on white trucks.
Just my opinion though

What are you going with in the rest of the truck? Chrome, black, or just everything ptm?

Go with chrome... Red trucks look great with the right style of chrome wheels and it adds a little class to the look of the truck. Black wheels are overplayed and makes the truck look cheap.

I dont know that I would use the term cheap, they are a lot less flashy but they still look good. I think a set of black/machined wheels look really good on most colors. I have had chrome all my life, I switched things up a little this go around and went with the black wheels and really like the look. OP pst up some pics of wheels you have been considering it will make it easier for people to give you better opinions.:thumbup:

I sold my chrome Weld's in hopes of getting some new BMF's. Little did I know that they are IMPOSSIBLE to find! I'm partial to chrome on a red truck, I just think black wheels don't look right on a red truck.

I got my 20x10 sotas on Craigslist for $600...lol.

The rims are 18x9. The tires are 325/65. Going to go 20x10 when these tires are done. Wish I had back in the day, but 20's were like 6-700 each back then.

For my .02, if there is other chrome on the truck, chrome rims are fine. If everything is PTM, then black is the stuff.
