My machinist wants me to get .020" oversized pistons with the .010" reduced deck height. I'd like to go with the Ford overhaul kit 2C3Z6R007C that includes most everything I need for a decent price. However, while that part number is for the .020" overbore my Ford dealer can not find a number for the same kit with the .010" reduced deck height pistons. Does anyone know if that is available thru Ford? If not my machinist says we could go with .010" thicker head gaskets. Any suggestions on where to get that? Thanks!
