Removing dried wax from plastic

I had my truck buffed and waxed the other day and he got wax on the plastic trim and a few other things.Is there a good and easy way to remove it? Also what do you guys use to restore black plastic?thanks

i.don't know of anything other than a slightly damp soft towel and some elbow grease.

you could use a product like turtle wax F21 to restore it. if that won't do it. you can re dye them

Yes, they use to have In and Out spray which worked excellent for trim and plastics but they stopped making it. It's been a while since I have looked for it since I had a gallon of it but I'm out and needing to re-stock up on supplies.

The VRT stuff is their trim stuff. But the detail spray I always use after a wash and it takes wax off my mirror plastic and bed rails.

I agree tacks forever to wax my big green bus.lol Thanks for the links i might try the poor boys for the plastic cause its way cheaper and if pb dont work il try the other to remove the wax.

for the future, anyone worth their salt at a detail shop spends the time upfront with the masking tape to cover all trim.

Detail sprays and some light rubbing with a soft cloth should remove it.
