Trying to install the Elite upgrade for my afe intake and I am not sure how to remove the ram air plastic thing. Can't see where all it attaches even with the wheel liner off. Not sure if I am missing something or if I should just cut it out. Hoping one of you guys have done it before and can help. Thanks.

Danny I think there are 2 bolts... You should have to get them from the top. Probably easiest to pull the passenger battery and box...
I am trying to get the battery box out now, but with the windshield wiper fluid and the second fuel pump right there it is a bit of a pain...

Why take the ram air out in the first place?
Have to take it out for the filter to fit as I am doing an upgrade to my afe that has the box/heat shield.

Why not just trim off what you need with a dremel.
