replaceing leds?

well i bought a ebay led 3rd brake light and after being on for a woping month one of the leds is out. is there a way to replace them without buying a whole new 3rd brake light?

Probably not, they seal them good. Is it a module of leds or one led? If its a module, you might be able to find it online. Otherwise, PM the seller on ebay about a replacement or warranty.

dont know which it is. yeah i doubt theres a warranty tho

I doubt there is much of a warranty. But if you go and threaten him with some negative feedback for chitty leds he might get you another light. Otherwise definately go rate his feedback how he has bad leds and not to buy them, and terrible customer support.

Yeah it is, good leds are shock resistent and last a LOT longer.

That's is what I have. After 4 years the chrome has wore off and three leds don't light but did it with the stock one so it must be a wiring issue. The brake light works well just only have one side for door open light.

I also put the 5 way tailgate strip but it died last year. Lost the wiring control in a snowbank some time.

I think it is the same as ebay but it has lasted well for me.
