So my brakes are shot 3 mm front, 4 mm rear. Local dealer wants $1100 to replace.

I'm looking for recommendations if I changed them myself and how hard it would be to do. I've done brakes once before, and have most tools.
I tow and haul moderately.
2012 f250
Thanks in advance

There were too many aftermarket options and wasn't sure which to get, so I decided to stay with motorcraft since that was stock.
And only $48o for all four corners ( rotors & pads) which I didn't think was too bad

Hope the install is easy.

I did powerslots all the way around with hawk HD pads and it feels WAY better... I've not had to really stomp on it or stand on them, but the feel is much better. If you swapping fluid and all, upgrade to stainless steel brake lines too.

I believe ford has 2 options. I put the more expensive ones on because the dealer said their cheaper ones leave brake dust on the wheels. Also, I've heard nothing but good about hawk pads.

They do, regular and sever duty pads. I wasn't sure the difference in the physical pad other than the 20-30$ difference so I went with the regular.
Hopefully I don't experience crazy brake dust like you mentioned.
If these don't work, once I wear them out ill prob switch over to hawk as many people have recommended.
