Replacement hid ballast

I have 6k 55w bixenon hids on my 05 from vvme they've been good but found today one of the ballast is out I'm looking online for a replacement ballast but all I can find is 55w xenon replacement ballasts will this work they look the same but I'm wondering if bi xenon is related to the ballast or bulb only? Btw I'd buy a replacement from vvme but they're overseas and don't feel like waiting on shipping. Thanks in advance

Look at Retrofitsolutions.com. I am a dealer for them and absolutely love all their products. The Moriomoto ballasts are some of the best.

You can get digital 55W ballast on ebay all day long. I've been running a set on my Bronco for 3+ years now w/ no issues. FWIW, i have 3 different sets of ebay bulbs and ballast and not a single one as given me issue.

All the ebay one's I've bought are epoxy filled.

I cannot honestly say the same about a different brand I've had issues using....
