retrofit question

i have hid lights now has anyone put dummy projectors on all together or will they not emit enough light ? will they work ? way way cheaper to do it that way if it will work ! figured id ask since I got the hids already

People only use the dummy projectors for the turn signals, do the retrofit. It will be one of the best mods you do to your truck

The dummy up top simply covers your turn signal light giving the illusion that you have dual projectors

god damn that looks nasty!! so when u order the projector it has the bulb inside or do u order a hid kit with it to be put inside the projector ? gonna start ordering some **** lol i have hids already so if i can just use them that would be awesome

Most projector kits include the bulbs and ballasts if I'm not mistaken

Which kit are you ordering? I've done a few recently and you'll be amazed with the lighting you get. If you can splurge for it be sure to go ahead and order OEM bulbs; Osram 66240 CBIs are what I prefer. You won't have to worry about bulb alignment issues and you'll get a perfect hotspot. These are the Mini D2S 3.0s, Apollo 2.0 shrouds, 35w ballasts, CBIs and full PTM headlights. I didn't do dummies up top but they aren't too bad to do. From what I've seen it just requires a lot of trimming. Also.... the color flicker is amazing with the D2S 3.0s and CBIs. Last pic is actually a short video...... :shocked:

That is a good hotpsot compared to my morimoto xb35 bulbs. The new morimoto bulbs are a lot better than the previous generation morimotos that I had. I have my second retrofit sitting in my basement and havent even installed them on my truck yet
