After I unhooked my buddies boat last night the reverse lights just turned on and stayed on, no matter what gear i'm in. Additionally a few times the reverse sensor would make a random beep. The lights stayed on during my drive from my buddies last night and then again this morning on the way to work. Anyone ever had this happen? Could it be something with the trailer connections? That's the only thing we messed with

there is a sensor in older trucks w/ the auto on the column that could stick. The circuit is being closed check relays, fuses, and the sensor. I'd think something simple really.

I'm wondering if something shorted out the connector and is sending power back through the harness causing the lights to stay on and confusing the backup sensors. I'd check the 7 pin connector just to make sure.
