Anyone have a write up on installing these into the factory fog light spots? Are you guys running it off the fog light switch?

simply cut the factory connector off near the bulb on the factory fogs.
Splice the wires together matching the colors.
Thats it

You can get ahold of diesel cartel and they can send you some connectors to make it plug and play. I find that easier if you ever wana go back to stock.

Thanks for the referral. I sell this kit complete with lights, brackets, hardware and plug and play wiring that will allow you to run the lights right off your factory fog light switch.

There are hundreds of "no name" brands out there. Ive seen a lot of the product, if you compare them to a Rigid they are nothing at all alike.

However, Rigids are designed for Baja Racing and other severe abuse. I personally won't use anything but Rigid on my own vehicles but thats just me.

My reason for being a strong Rigid supporters is because they are an American Company, they assemble everything they make in Arizona although I'm sure a lot of the parts come from out of the US, their product is proven, i have had a few warranty claims with some of my customers and Rigid 100% backs their product with no headaches or run around.

The other name brands out there look similar and will perform ok for your average user but what worries me is what happens when they fail. A common argument is well i can just rebuy the same light again and still be less or equal to a rigid cost which is true but who wants to have to deal with that, replace lights etc. I know my time is valuable and I don't want to have to spend time fixing things that shouldn't be broken.

I second Josh's kit with his harness. Works great and easy access to turn them on or off. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416000639.340167.jpg

Lol...I know, right? lol...I was not expecting it to be that drastic of a difference! Guess I will save my pennies a little longer for the Rigid stuff!

I ended up going with a flood setup. They still shine twice as far as my headlights and there is hella bright light everywhere. If I need distance I have the bar for that...

i also believe he had a hyper spot/flood rigid, compared to just the regular flood/spot combo, they would have been a better comparison thats more like apples or oranges IMO

Ok....I'm sold on Rigid. They are NOT all the same...

Check this guy's video:

I seen this a while back, my buddy thought I was full of **** when I told him that there is no comparison. This video shows it all, I just bought a totron 20" for my 6.0. But it's also my work truck. Anything that goes on my 2015 will be rigid. You can't beat them. Just read an article about this guy messing his rigid up after 5 years. They said bring it in (he lived in a AZ) and they handed him a brand new one. You just can't beat that.
