RPM ranges - Low, Mid & Top

What rpm is low, mid and top? I read about mid range, top end will suffer, strong low. Just trying to figure out the rpm range.

I'm not positive there are actual "set" numbers for this. I think its mainly idle-1, 750ish is low, 1750-2500 is mid range, and 2500 on up is higher rpm range. At least that's always been my view on it. Someone much smarter than me will correct me soon I'm sure lol
