So I'm looking at buying a turbo off my buddy it's the s364sxe t3 , and he has a t3 to t4 adapter for it , would this work on my 96 7.3 powerstroke ? If not what would I need to make it mount up.

Ya was looking at the bellowed pipes , would it work with stock pipes ? Or deffs need them

You need to replace the housing with a t4 housing then get a t4 up pipe kit .

Don't use a t3 to t4 adapter it won't work
Every kit made is for a t4 turbo. If you put an adapter in there the turbo won't be in the right location and your oil drain , down pipe ect won't bolt up .
You can buy the turbo but scrap the ****ty t3 housing,

That turbo in the picture is a stock turbo. Is that what he's trying to sell you?

You will need the T4 mount kit... https://www.dp-tuner.com/ford-power...grades/turbo-accessories/csd-turbo-mount.html

And you will need to get a different exhaust housing. Such as a .91 T4 housing or a 1.0 T4 housing.

No that's my motor right now , still stock turbo for now
