Change my coolant filter after 10k miles of having it on. Pretty nasty!

To me, they are worth the money. Don't want that crap floating in your engine

Hmmm that's impressive. I have been wanting one, it just got bumped up near the top of the list.
What truck you got that on?
That filter looks big, is that a high capacity filter or standard size?
Thanks for posting the pic.

2008 6.4l

It was the filter that came with the sinister kit.

I replaced with a wix 24073. Sounds like it has balls or something it it?

They didn't have a exact replacement in stock.

Not sure what's in my coolant but you can see a film on top. Have noticed it before? Maybe has to do with the new filter?

if it rattles it has dca in it. They are additives to keep the engine happy. Most diesel engines want a proper charge of additives. Helps with cylinder cavitation and helps limit electrolosis.
