I have had my ScanGauge II for a week, and for the most part I like it a lot. I have used X-gauge to measure EOT and FICM voltage. My problem is, it doesn't turn on when I start the truck. Every single time, I have to wiggle the cord in the back of the unit, then it turns on, but even then, about half the time the X-gauge numbers come up with a name but no reading. This can't be normal. Is my plug defective or my cord too stiff? Anybody else have this situation? I want to keep it, but I want it to be right. BTW, the supplied Velcro seems to work very nicely holding the gauge below my Garmin which is suction-cupped to the windshield right next to the EGT pillar gauge. It's all together, but could probably be a little more elegant. Red backlight is awesome. Best $160 ever spent.

Is the wire at a sharp angle in back? I have had mine for a few years with no issues. Comes on and goes off with the ignition. I got the blendmount for the mirror and love it up there. Easy to read and out of the way.
