Ok so I'm a noob when it comes to Elec Shift On Fly. I was reading in the manual that the hub should say 'Auto/Lock' from the picture in said manual. My truck however is not marked. In the manual it depicts 'Auto' as being below FORD and 'Lock' above FORD. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

When I took my truck out to the beach the front hubs would not engage unless I flipped them to lock. I was however already stuck when I tried to flip into 4hi/4lo. But once I flipped them front hubs worked. Thanks!

it may have had the hubs replaced with manual units, it takes 11-13" of vacuum to engage them and 5-7" to disengage

I'm leaning towards not having auto hubs as the auto hubs on eBay do say Auto. Guess next question is how hard/easy of a swap is this if I wanted to put in Auto's. Thanks!

When you change to auto, you'll probably have to fix the problem that caused the guy before you to go to manual! Knuckle seals, hub seals, pvh solenoid, vaccuum line leaks.......one or more of em. Not too hard though.
