Read an article well kinda flew threw it but it was in a newer diesel magazine that took a tuner seems like sct f4 and an air intake and obtained just shy of 100 rwhp dpf on.This also only cost $750 and provided fewer regens and better aprox+2 mpgs fuel mileage possibly due to fewer regens.
Im wondering if anyone can beat that or is this hogwash as im thinking 480 rwhp may work for awhile@just $750 oh also has a 2 year engine gaurantee of sorts seems theyre sure you wont blow up due to their tune. This sounds pretty good to me.

Working on putting some Innovative tunes on my X4 right now. Mike is sending me a S&B to help it breathe a bit easier. I have no dyno and no want to find one, but I'll share the seats of my pants story soon.

have you done any reading in the 6.7 section at all?

Absolute performance sells Superchips dpf on tuners as well as a custom air intake to do what you are asking.

It appeared to be a tune i havent seen on here as did the intake&yes i have tuned before it was a crappy steeda intake/tune combo on my 13 brembo gt 5.0 so yes i was leary about the warranty on my 13 f150 fx4 sorry it bothers you so much.I am taking my time researching my 15 superduty for the same reason but i do need more power as its a turd as it is now@least to me anyway but thx for your concern&im interested in and weighing all options.

From my experience with the superchips f4 tunes, the power was good, nothing like deleted though, but regens were more frequent. With the no limit intake and the f4 the regens then calmed down. If you do the f4 I really recommend getting the no limit intake!

Thank you for your input,i actually thought about that&priced out one with the dust cover in red&polished for $444.I would think the 5"would be better then the 4" as well.

We specialize in DPF On tuning and have very strong and safe tunes for the 11-16 6.7. You won't notice additional regens, driven normally. If you drive the truck hard on a high power tune, it will use a more urea and have more frequent regens...but this is the case for a stock truck also.

I recommend the X4 with our custom tunes, it's a great value.

If I was to go with a SCT and your tunes, what do you recommend for gauges??

The X4 has a monitor built in, as well as the Livewire TS. The TS will shut down automatically after you shut off the truck, the X4 you will need to unplug or turn off. They both monitor the same parameters, just about everything you'll need. If you find something we don't have, we can add it.

Thanks

You can always go with the Edge CS or CTS for monitoring. However the only thing we have found with the X4 is that it does not have all the parameters that other monitors have.
