sct on stock 6.0?

my question is can i use a sct tuner on my stock 05 6.0 230,xxx miles , i do have 4'' tb, gauges and cai but i dont have egr delete or studs, i have alot of time and money in my truck and i just dont wanna blow the dam thing up or hurt it by using a tuner?, i do plan on doin the egr delete this summer

get an SCT that can do custom tunes. order custom tunes from Gearhead and tell him that it is stock. he will give you a tune for it that is probably safer than canned sct tunes. Head gaskets will likely go at some point but you can run it until it happens. You will be very impressed with the custom tuning.

With 230K on the clock I would be very careful adding power to it.. I know people do it and get away with it but IMO, you would be pushing your luck.. If you have to do it, custom tunes would be the only way to go..

i don't want to change your mind but it may work out for your pricewise if you pm Franchi on this forum. he has some blank custom tuners for sale at a good price. Then contact Gearhead.

i retuned a product to xdp so in exchange im gonna get the sct so i gotta get it from them
