Just picked up an SCT livewire and was wondering does it shut itself off or do I have to manually do it or do I need to tap into a wire somewhere for that to happen? I know my buddies h&s he had to hook into a wire for that to happen.

TS or the 9600 series? The 9600 is the dumbest tuner ever. Why can't they make it shut of with the damn truck and restart when you start the truck? I hate that it stays on and that I have to tell it to monitor every damn time. Besides that, it's a good unit unless your in the heat. Then you need to wait for it to cool down to show the display. I will never recommend or have good things to say about it. The TS on the other hand. I likey.

It's shut off right now. Just wanted to make sure it wouldnt cause issues with anything. Any other particular settings I should run?

Just off. As far as settings, what do you mean?

I just leave them alone. Lat time I messed with the settings I blew the pump in the trans. I have custom tunes now and I see no need to adjust what the tuner did based on what I told him about my truck.
