SCT SF3

Anybody have any experience with these tuners? Are they custom tunable? I've been around the X3's a little and these things are substantially cheaper for some reason. I'm not opposed to buying one but I don't know much about them.

the sf3 is the new wave of the x3. they have dual tranny and pcm tuning at the same time. it doesnt have to do the pcm 1st and then the tranny. it does them at the same time

just like a x3 it will hold 3 custom tunes from any sct tune writter

Good deal, thanks for the input. Theres a guy local that advertising $300 with canned tunes. I think I'm gonna pick one up and see how I like it

Good write up, lot of valuable info in there. The one I was considering was new in the package but after a 20 minute phone conversation with Nate @ Unlimited, I'm just gonna wait till my tonneau cover sells and buy one with Gearhead tunes. The price difference is pretty minor considering the quality difference, plus I'm not entirely sure the seller was totally legit.
