sct tuner question!

Basically have the sf3 tuner... updated it for the first time in years (wanted to get the 10 tune storage instead of 3). Anyways, returned to stock, then clicked on "check automatic updates"- it did it's think then the tuner froze on "bootloader please wait do not unplug"... after 30 min. I just unplugged the tuner and restarted everything....

Successfully updated it (took 30-35min).. loaded tune into truck and started it up just to make sure. Truck fired up with no issues so I assume all is well and got lucky. Anyone have this happen before? Sct is sketchy doing updates. I figured if something was screwed up either a- truck would not have started or b- tuner would not have accepted custom tunes(5 total loaded). Thoughts? Thanks!

You should be fine, SCT updater is kinda on the slow side LOL.

Yeah mine got ****y when I tried to do updates. I just gave up and it worked fine after

Good deal. Guess I'm lucky it completed itself then lol . Just making sure that's all. I don't think the truck would've even fired up or tunes would be accepted if there was an update /programming glitch. I dislike this part of the game .

You got lucky mine did the same thing but ended up saying update failed and now I have to send it to sct to be fixed. Luckily I just saved my stock tune and left it on my custom tune. Sct is going to load my stock file as well for me.
