SCT unlock

The SCT that I used for my Ex was destroyed by the puppy. I have another SCT that came with the new dually. I want to load a different tune into the Ex.
Should I put the dually back to stock, then unlock the SCT, load the new tune into the Ex, then unlock the SCT a second time so that I can load my tow tune into the dually?

Do I have the process correct?

The SCT can only tune one truck at a time. Every time you tune a vehicle the SCT will use up one of the "unlocks", after all the "unlocks" are used up, you will need to contact SCT to have the "unlocks" reset for a fee.

The X3 and SF3 has 5 "unlocks", the Livewire,TSX, and iTSX only have 3 "unlocks". Once you deplete the "unlocks", SCT can reset for a fee.

So if you jump back and forth from each vehicle, you lose a "unlock".
