What do y'alls screens display when you go to program your vehicle? I think my X4 may have custom tunes because they all have a "V7" after each tune file. I didn't ask the shop that did the work for me because I know for a fact that they do not do custom tuning. I just told them I wanted to order the SCT X4. Not sure who they order their tuners from. Truck runs good with them, no complaints, just wondering. Although my trans does run a little hotter than it used to stock, and it shifts much harder than it used to stock, will these transmissions hold up to that in the long run?

Here's an example of my X4, sorry don't know why it's sideways

Check your secondary coolant reservoir, if it's low or out the trans temp will be high. v7 is in reference to whomever's tunes are on your SCT. Could be old P!P tunes, but all that means is it's version 7 of whatever tunes they are.

If I were you, I'd contact the shop and find out who's tunes are on your truck, if only to get updates to the tunes when they come out...

Kinda what I was thinking. Thanks notneb. The trans temps aren't a drastic change from factory, used to run 190-195 and now I average 192-202.
