Hey guys and gals,
I just picked up an 09 CCLB in January and this is my first diesel so bear with me.
I'm looking at getting the SCT Livewire that Rudy's has with the IDP custom tunes preloaded. Question is, how exactly do these preloaded tunes work? I was under the impression that for the custom tunes from IDP you need to tell them your setup, i.e. EGR delete, dpf delete, both, etc. Are those types of variables selectable in the tuner with their tunes? Also, I was told the trans tunes are included with the package. Can you choose which one to use independent of which engine tune you're running?
I want to do this right the first time and don't want to waste money on something that I'll end up changing anyways.
Also, I'm ready to order the tuner this week so that I can put my **illegal** exhaust on that I already have. I don't have an egr delete yet though so that's why I'm concerned about what these IDP tunes are exactly.
