Both edge piggy backs and flash programmers would cause the transmission to limp mode if you pushed it hard. H&S had nice smooth power, just left it on the hottest tune, trans was happy but stock feeling. SCT just flat out works. Add a custom tune and runs even better. As far as switching tunes, custom tunes program in a few minutes, faster than the canned tunes. When I do tow heavy, over 10K, I let it program while I'm hooking the trailer.
