Alright guys, I'm going to be replacing it looks like my steering stabilizer as well as at least a couple of the shocks. I have 4 shocks up front and 2 in the back.

My question is what is the best bang for your buck as far as shocks. Truck will be used 90% on the pavement. I want something that rides nice but also takes bumps and such very well.

Also, I'm not sure if I have a 6, 7 or 8 inch lift. How can I get that figured out so I get the right size shocks?

Thanks guys!

Lift size shouldn't matter as long as you measure properly when ordering. As far as best bang for the buck, I've heard Bilsteins or Icon, but I haven't tried either of them yet.

Bilstein, I do believe they ask the lift size as far as the options on the page when ordering

Bilsteins but I believe they have different valving for the single up front or duals. They have a shock for a single shock setup and a shock for dual setup. The valving is different so make sure you get the right ones or the ride will suffer.

thanks!

I may actually look into FOA shocks. They're dirt cheap and apparently good quality
