Where can I find a rotating assembly for a reasonable price? I'm done with the junk yards.. I bought 3 of them and they all had spun bearings. And from what I understand and read if they spin the mains.. There junk. I've thought about milling the bed plate and block then re honing the bores to stock.. But then I though about the gear to gear clearances...

One block granaded..
Block 2 snaped crank spun bearings
3rd block spun bearings

we've had excellent results with these:

if you'd like the pistons cut/coated...rotating assembly balanced, feel free to contact us.

What golfer said. Good 6.4 blocks are not easy to find as you already know and at the end of the day you'll be about even money if you find a good block and have it built.

I've herd of blackwater engines but I don't think they do just short blocks. They offer a long block with studs..

I wouldn't touch jasper. I found a place in Asheville nc but they want 5.9k short block with front and rear cover. All I need is a block... Crank.. Lifters.. Cam.. Nothing else lol.

How bad is black water?

Bad...

6.4s are tough, you need to round up about 3 engines to make one good usable one.

I did that. I have all good external parts. One had new rocker arms one had a new hpfp. Etc. None of the blocks were saveable all the main journals were spun. What's the fix to that?

I dont think they make oversized bearings for them, but maybe international does. Otherwise you can pick up a block, but they are 3500 for a bare block from ford. or 5000 for a shortblock.

6.4s are very hard on blocks

A lot of people aren't accepting blocks with spun mains. Except ford. I thought I had beat the system by milling the block and bed plate then re honing the journals back to stock.. Buttt... My machine shop didn't feel conferrable doing that . due to gear to gear clearances

There's one of the worst journals . I Dont think they make one they may make them if you have to polish the crank. Then yes they go as big as .20 but not for larger journal size I wouldn't be posting if they did

Someone needs to tho

Nothing? I'm waiting on a call back from international to see if they make over sized outside diameter bearings for a 6.4
