I feel ya Jason. There is a lot of good info in the thread Garrett linked as to why the kits cost what they do, and what they offer the end user over the others. I've got several customers standing inline ready to remove the kits they have in favor of mine. That's got to stand for something. Plus, the OP is a return customer which means he won't be paying retail :)

Except that one cost more than $150 and didnt answer the op's question.

Yes one is needed to get all the sand from casting out of the block and the coolant breaks down into a silicant over time.

The diesel site kit is $125 I believe.

I do like the absolute kit but I haven't found a way to justify dropping an extra $75 on it just because.

Thanks, as long as it does the job efficiently

YES, get one. You can get the kit from XDP for $114 shipped and its just a nice as most of the other kits out there. Sinister is overpriced IMHO. I run the xdp kit and so far so good.

Im not knocking your kit at all Steve, I don't know if it came out that way or not. I haven't ordered one at all ftom anybody. I just had to buy a new turbo after doing the egr delete so many has been tight. I want to go with yours, its just a big jump in price I wasn't expecting.

Im removing my Sinister kit for Steve's. Larger lines and a cleaner look was enough to justify the switch for me....plus Steve supports the site and you guys by sponsoring.

Should look great with all the polished no limit parts under the hood.

That was why i suggested the diesel site kit over sinister, supporting vendors. Steve does help a lot though, he helped me big time with my egr delete.

Want to donate that sinister kit to a good cause?

Could not believe the stuff that came out of my DieselSite coolant filter at the first filter change. I try to spread the wealth around, Sinister gets some of my business, DieselSite gets more, but that's because I can get standard UPS ground shipping that will usually get to me the next day. I've also installed the transmission filter that Bob Riley developed for the 5R110 transmission, I have more faith in it than the roll of toilet paper that passes for a filter from the factory.

It's all good man. When you are ready for a filter, I'll make you a deal you'll be happy with :D

Pm me that price. I just sold a .270 to my brother so I have some extra cash, plus I start working next week so things are looking up.
