Smoke Misfire issuses?????

I have a 6.4 I did 6 new injectors in and amonge alot of other items that this truck has. I replaced all injectors except 1 and 5 and injectors 3,4,and 7 are bad misfires. I have heard about Ford having issuse with recon engines and there injectors but has anyone had issuses with new injectors? I am at a loss, I wiring over real good when I put them in and nothing looked bad. I put fuel filters in the truck b4 I started and didnt see any metal in the filter bowls. The truck has been neglected alot it has a programmer and is a service truck and when I got the truck it was pushing oil out every seal on it.
Does anyone have a insite on something of this?

Did you reset the fuel tables using IDS? That may not be the correct name for it. But when you replace 6.4 injectors you're supposed to clear the adaptive learning tables. Otherwise the PCM still thinks those injectors are not working properly.

You may try that. Not saying its going to fix your problem though.

Sounds to me like the engine might be hurt how much blow by does it have?

I dont have IDS I need to find a place to buy it and the blow by is bad the charge air pipes were full of oil when I took it all apart. The oil plug had alot of metal on it and so did the coolant system I told the owner but he didnt want to hear it. Are you able to reset the injector tabs with a Snapon solious? not sure if its spelled right.

It doesn't really matter the engine is hurt enough that reseting it isn't going to make the code go away.

ok well I am telling the guy to come get it Im part time at my place to give me something to do in the evenings and thats more work than I want to deal with for a 1 week turn around and someone who is iffy on paying. Thanks for the info man much appriciated.
