So I have a problem

So my obs has bee acting a little strange lately. Every time I use my left turn signal either to put it on or turn it off my truck surges. I don't have a gain in acceleration but my rpm jump anywhere from 200 to 500 depending on the speed I am traveling. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Tom I can't tell but i could be either until I get a scan gauge hooked up to it I really have no idea at this point in time.

My bet it is blipping the converter. Check your turn signal and brake bulbs, wiring harnesses, etc.

I would pull apart the left brakelight and start looking there.

Sounds to me like your truck is right handedLOL

Have you checked all your wires? It could be something as simple as a cross or a bad connection.

That is what I am hearing a lot of electrical and that is where I was going to start. I just wanted to get some input from the rest of you all before I ripped into the wrong part.

Check for blown bulbs and corroded sockets

i had the same issue the wires were chaffed and back feeding the brake light wire when i put my signal on, telling the computer i was on the brakes and unlocking the converter.

Signals, brakes and headlights high and low beams all are fully functional.
