Okay guys sorry for another post, but this morning I went to start my truck and I turned the key and the wait to start and I went ahead and waited for the glow plugs to cycle fully, which do glow plugs make a noise? Because when I turn my key to on I hear a little whining noise for about a minute and then a click then the volts go up a little. But it isn't a consistent whine it goes up and down. Sounds like a mad bee. Not sure if its normal. But I started turning it over and I turned it for bout 10 seconds and let off and there was white smoke coming from the pipe then I heard like a pop like a deep backfire??? Then I cranked for 10 seconds and let off. Then it fired right up with a push of white smoke and bran great. Idk if it was wherein didn't drive it all day and it rained hard all day and night and got a little cold. Not sure what happened....

Mine does the same thing occasionally and I can hear it clicking. Click. Clickclick. Click and then the light flashes once and its gone. Click as the light comes back on and one click as it goes back off. Flash happens immediately

Well so far it been doing good since then, I just put new batteries in it 2 wheels ago and cables and ends are good. My water in fuel light has been on so I took out filter and the bottom of it was rusty so I drained bowl a couple times and new filter. Seems okay now. Anybody know what the little metal C looking thing is in the fuel bowl? I bent mine accidentally and just bent it back...

Ya I just found out its the fuel heater. The a solder is broken down on two points on it so I just bent it back to the original spot. I would replace if needed but I heard they are expensive and don't really want to tear into the bowl again. Lol
