Hey i was just curious to see if anyone else was running the spartan 350 tune on a ZF6? spartan says not to go over 310 just cause the throttle response is so touchy and the truck tends to buck on anything over 310. any thoughts on this?

Just got one in for a buddy of mine last month. I drove it about 150mi or so home for him. I couldnt tell a huge difference between the 275, 310, or 350 tune. Had a SB DD clutch in it. Very good running truck.

To my knowledge they do not offer the 350 tune for the zf6.... I paid for it a little over a year ago

I was pretty sure there was another tune above the 310 one on his setup. Maybe I am mistaken on that, but either way the 275 tune seemed to run the best, and get the best mpg.

If your looking for a faster time, your 310 is going to be the one to run. But as far as just wanting to run the 350, Im sure it is available for trucks with clutches. Can you not update a manual truck tuner via spartans website?

Tuners for manual transmission trucks are not strategy flash, therefore they don't come setup with all of the tunes and cannot be updated on the website.

OP, shoot an email to [email protected] regarding your truck and the tunes available to you. Unless you have a beefier clutch, I wouldn't run anything higher than the 250 tune anyway. The 210 tune is probably the highest safe tune for the stock clutch. The 250 tune will be hit or miss depending on how you drive it.

I have been running the 250 tune on my 450 for almost 2 years. I do everything from towing a 20000 lbs gooseneck to snow plowing all on stock clutch without any issues so far. I really need to update my DD...

250 or 210 tune is perfect with no dd clutch anything over that is hard to keep the clutch from sliping, that was my experience atleast.

250 tune is the max. It slips pretty bad even on the 250 but it will survive. Thro a South Bend DD in it and have some fun. Its the only way to go lol.
