Truck is fully deleted and about 1000 miles ago I put an oil cooler on it, once I filled it up and put a few miles on it I noticed oil floating in degas bottle.

Could some oil have gotten in cooling system while removing old cooler or do I have other problems

Goin to drain coolant and flush with water and put some miles on it to see if its still getting oil in or was just from the swap, it was a new cooler from ford

Well hopefully it happened when changing it, I added a thin layer of grey silicone around then rubber gasket so new one shouldn't be leaking,

Coolant getting expensive at 20 a gallon lol

Ahh i see now. I'd pull the oil cooler out. Either it wasn't installed properly or something internal took a crap. Bout the only other things it could be would be cracked block or cracked head.

I'm on third cooler,
Original replaced due to temp diff tried flushing before but didn't do good enough
So now second cooler in and with 1000 miles already clogged.
Flushed the cooling system every which way with every different chemical known to man, I know it worked this time because the coolant filter caught it all and looked like absolute garbage,
Now I'm on third cooler with good temps and clean filter after 1000 miles just a bit of oil in degas bottle which I noticed within 10 Miles

im betting you have oil in the cooling system

Try and find some E.R.F excellent radiator flush

its really good stuff that cleans and breaks down the oil and holds it in the water when you drain it. If it comes back then yes you have an issue
