Getting bored with my exhaust. It's a Flo-Pro 5" with no tip. Thinking about adding a tip. I feel like this should be an easier decision than it is, but I'm having a hard time deciding. The theme of my truck makes me think black is the way to go but I also feel that a black tip might be washed out. Thoughts? Opinions?

I have a stainless 6" tip on my 5" exhaust and I love the look of it. I think stainless is the way to go with any under the truck exhaust. A little bit of shiny with all that black would look great.

The fender badges are still chrome. The inserts are black. The sun makes the chrome part look white in that one picture.

6" mbrp, 5" flo pro. But I painted my whole exhaust black so there no stainless to black transition. Ive never had stainless exhaust tip but they def look good on a lot of trucks. If I ever dump mine to keep the soot off my bed ill be going with a 7" tip but might be stainless so it will stand out under the truck.

I would go black. Stainless is a pain to keep looking nice. That is what I have. If you don't want to mess with cleanning your exhaust ever time you wash your truck, I would go with black :D

Any companies make gloss black tips? I've had an MBRP black tip in the past and it always had a faded look unless I kept it cleaned with tire shine. I guess it's the material they use for their tips that looks faded.
