I have a early 99 made in 01 of 98. Sometimes when I start the truck the starter just spins but doesn't turn truck over. I have installed 3 starters and they all do the same thing. It takes about the third try at starting and it starts up. Is there some teeth missing on the flywheel that would cause this? It just turned over to 150000 miles.
Thanks for your help
Joel

Pull the inspection plate off the bottom of the trans. You'll know real quick if it's worn.
