I am looking to buy a 97 f250 with a power stroke. I went and looked at one today but there was one issue it didn't start right up. The man said it started good yesterday. It was warmer yesterday today it is about 45 out. The light comes on for the glow plugs and shuts off then you can roll it over but it doesn't start. He shot some either in it and it started right up. You could turn off the truck and it would start right up after that. Any ideas what the problem could be? I have never had a diesel before so I don't know much about it. I was told it could be the glow plug relay.
