Well I got around to installing my steed speed manifolds last week and got to driving around so I'll make a review and post more as I drive.

The install is pretty easy.

The turbo will need to be removed for pipe replacement.

Both fender liners will need to be removed as well as the downpipe.

The oem bolts were re used and torqued to 32ft pounds

At start up you can hear a slight change in exhaust tone.

While driving and accelerating the truck feels like it has more top end and climbs to 100mph a lot faster. Low end feels the same an mid is alittle stronger. Max egt is 1180-1190 wot with 3 different race tunes from gear head/tsd and dfuser.

Previous egt were 1290-1300 at wot

When hitting Max egt and releasing the throttle the egts get cool very fast. Will post pics and videos later on.

Over all I am impressed I know with some injectors I'll for sure feel the positives out of this setup.

For up pipes I'm using elites uppipes and it's a cab on install . I will be trying some cutting edge up pipes to see if there is a difference in spool since the pipe diameter is smaller. I'll keep ya guys posted. Thx leen at steed and jd at elite for the great support.

That is my one complaint about the steed speeds is the 2.5 in flange size. 2 in is really the biggest I think that is ever needed, and I am pretty sure larger pipes actually hurt spool up. Still they are very nice, and I am glad to hear you like them.

Well I was under the impression these manifolds were suppossed to help with the bottom end response...you say its the same...Even with new up-pipes...:gun:

Do you have any gauges that show the difference in EGT's (Before and After)
Or the reduction in drive/back pressure? (Before and After)

Don't wanna piss on anyone parade...but it sure would be nice to see actual numbers instead of "seat of the pants" reviews.;)

I think I would have a bigger complaint if I spent $1000.00 on manifolds, and $XXX on up pipes just to have the same bottom end response.:fustrate:

I honestly haven't smashed on it from a dead stop yet to see the difference. When I get home in like 6 hours I'll go make some vids and post em up with pics and more info

Lol I don't have any way to read drive pressure but I do have a egt gauge that doesn't lie.

is there something on the passanger side manifold to put the fitting for the EBP tube for the EBP sensor?

Steed normally tap each manifold with a egt probe hole, when ordering u need to specify for him to tap the top of the manifold with the 1/4 npt hole for ebp. I tapped mine my self

It's not bad at all the lower bolts by the outlet are a pain to tq down, maybe get some Allen bolts it might make it easier for torq'n
