Truck has a 2.5" level up front and a 4" block in back (air bags too). I also have Fox 2.0 shocks at all four corners. After adding the 295/65r20 toyos and the lift is when this steering "drifting" of sorts started to rear it's head.

I see there are a TON of options out there and it's tough to discern the real differences, benefits and value of them. Can someone help me out with this minor decision?

Carli High Mount with a single bilstien 7100 $255

PMF over/under dual with bilstien 5100 $299 or fox for $477

Rough Country dual $129

ProComp pro runner dual (says they're fox shocks) $251

Zone dual $175

Skyjacker Hydro 700 $134

BDS Dual 9500 $367

My buddy put some Toyo MTS on his truck, stock size. He is complaining about it drifting around. I think its from the extra tread depth compared to stock. Could that be part of it?

Im sure it does, but it also has some bumpsteer in it now too. I think the overall weight is just too much for the factory stabilizer shock

I have had this issue with MT's in the past. It is most definitely the tread depth and flex. Having the lift ect for OP exaggerates the issue even more. You may also consider rear bars or traction blocks as well.

Im using the AT2 extremes, not MTs

I should have clarified, that the issue was worse with MT's but was also present with Terra Grapplers and Toyo ATs.

I thing the stabilizer will help you more with bump steer than with any sort of sway issue.

You may want to consider some rear traction blocks as well.

edit: just saw your post regarding bump steer as well....

Did you adjust your Caster angle any after leveling? I had mine set to around 5 deg Inc after doing OUO ALAs and made a world of difference. As others have indicated above, lots of tread depth on tires will do it as well. I had dual Bilstein setup, then went to double Icon setup, night and day difference. Worth the money for sure!

you might be on to something with the caster. I had it aligned at a family friend's shop so i didnt' bother checking their work. I may be a fool for it now..

^^^^ Definitely need to bump your castor up. Ideally you want 4.5-5.5*. Although simple cams wont be enough to get you that high, it will get you back to a decent number where the truck drives like normal again. We have the drop in cams instock if you want to go that route. The alternative would be a set of adjustable arms which would allow you to dial in whatever castor you desired.

The caster angle on my truck has always been around 0* from new. Never thought to much of it.

You may be thinking of camber. If your truck has 0* of caster from factory, you have a serious problem and your truck must drive like crap.

I went ahead and contacted a few companies and ended up returning to PMF for a 3 link and Icon dual rate coils. I'll try that combo and proceed from there. Thanks for all the input and advice. And thanks to Trevor at PMF for treating me like a customer (though I wasn't one, yet) and not a ****ing kid with daddy's wallet.

I have Icons.......

I do too and have no complaints here. But I think it was Jared that said the OUO's dual stabilizers have better turning radius than Icons. Or it was something like that. hell if I know anymore.
