Stereo Question

Has anyone ever put a Pioneer DEH-P2900MP in a 97? I had it in my 95 but the wiring harness plugs are different on the 97. The 97 had the factory cd player in it, not sure if that is the difference or what. Ive tried looking for an adapter harness but have had no luck. I would hard wire it but I have no idea what wire is for what speaker. Any help would be appreciated.

Crutchfield sells the adaptor harness. It bypasses the amplifier that the factory premium sound has.

You can also use the regular (non-premium sound) adapters if you disconnect the factory radio harness from the premium sound amp and it's separate harness. The remaining harness will be just like the non-premium sound trucks that you are more familiar with (you just need to run the harness back up to the radio opening in the dash). Cheers!
