i bought a set of injectors and want to replace the o-rings and they may be sitting a couple weeks to a couple months. whats the best way to store them without causing any harm to them? and should i put the o-rings on now or right before i install them? thanks.

You'd be fine putting the o-rings on now cause when you get a new set of injectors the o-rings are already on them...just put them on...not gonna hurt anything. No need to oil the O-rings...just the injector so it doesn't rust. Oil them when they get installed...actually vasoline works better I found out when installing them.

They usually come wrapped in lint free paper, but they could be in a bag as well with a desiccant for moisture protection. Light grade oil or some protectant like wd-40, a little goes a long way.

so what about the o-rings? put em on now and soak in oil or right before install?

They can go on any time. They do not need to soak in oil. Just a squirt or 2 on each o-ring and fill the top before installing the rail.
