I would make sure I new what that value was before I did the one stud at a time method and once I had all of the bolts replaced with studs, I would take the torque of the studs to the full value and you will be just fine. I have known of several guys that have done this method and were successful and have aftermarket injectors and turbos and are just fine. I also only recommend this so long as it is you that is doing the work and you're not paying to have it done because this way you are only out the time you spent doing it if it doesnt work.
