I know I saw a post on here before, but I can't find it now. Is there a way I can tell if my truck is studded or not without tearing it apart? I bought the truck with 155k on the clock, so I would be suprised if it isn't.

passenger side front lower bolt/stud is really easy to see. Basically just below the valve cover at the front corner you should see either a stud or a bolt.

I know several guys with out any issues with 100% stock trucks at 220k+. Glad your going to stud that truck!

With my end goals for this truck in mind, studs are a must. Hoping this year it'll get studs, egr delete, and updated oil cooler. If funds allow, add injectors and tunes to the list.

I tend to drive the ch!t out of my truck. I eventually would like to see 550 rwhp or so. Plans are to buy a 6.4 to go real fast later.
