I have a 2008 F350 6.4 running KEM's 250 tune via SCT. The past two-three tanks I have really been paying attention to my Distance to E and it seems as if it goes down 2-3 miles for every mile that I actually drive. I know this hasn't always been the case. I have been babying it and it seems as if it is getting worse. I also have been noticing what I think is "injector rattle" in the 1500-1850RPM range. Anyone got any ideas??

depending on your location? winter fuel should be in the ground now.

you will always loose mileage with winter fuel...

you really shouldnt trust that anyway

you need to hand calculate, but im betting with these guys that its winter fuel that has hurt your mileage, mine is a good 2 less in the winter

Thanks for all the responses!! I totally forgot about the MPG loss of winter blend..

Anyways, I ran the truck down to "30 miles to E" (I know, I know, not good when it's cold out) fuel gauge showed less than E. Filled the truck and it only took 22 gallons when it has a 30.5 gallon tank. Could it be a bad fuel level sender? Why would it be reading so off? I reset my Trip odometer and put in some Diesel Kleen, we shall see what I end up with this time around.

Your truck still has fuel left in there when you get to 0 miles to e I used to only put 25-27 in mine and I always run mine down to E but Florida is different weather. That 22gallons with 30 miles to E seems right especially since you said your average was going down.
