I have even found competition Mercedes diesels that use a blower over turbo and the started out with a turbo feeding the blower. It does work mine needs improvement but its been on the truck for 2 years now. I have had some belt issues but that is just a few issues with alignment that have been cured and idlers that were needed and a stronger bracket that I still need to fabricate to run correct belt tension.
