I will be converting a 95 over to a superduty turbo setup. Manifolds, bellowed uppipes, pedestal, and precision drop in turbo. Will a superduty downpipe work without too much trouble? I can make it into a 2 piece with a vband.

An oem DP will fit, but you will still need to "massage" the fire wall by the lower pinch weld for clearence. No big deal, a porta power and 2x4 or a hammer and ur all set...

A 4" will fit but is not worth the hassle of making it fit! Trust me I did it to mine, and that's only cuz I'm shooting for big power... Do a search on here and you can see the pics I posted of what's needed.

Massaging ot surgery? I've done 2 trucks and getting close to doing another. To use a SD 4" downpipe it takes surgery.

I'll dig up a pic.

pics of my last one. No amount of massaging would have gotten enough room.

I built my own home-brew 4" exhaust, and it was a COMPLETE PITAzz....

does cool better tho....we air sawed out the firewall, and installed the pipe, then built a steel cap for the firewall....
I used a standard short 90 degree bend from NAPA, and a long 45 degree bend I got from a truck shop.....used a slip-together joint in the middle,
about where the 3" aftermarket pipes do, witha 4" stainless band clamp. I'm still using a stock style turbo, so had to fab the end to go from 4" down to 3" at
the turbo. cut the end of the 3" downppipe I had on there off and used it over....and fabbed a plate that was 4" in diameter, with a 3" hole slightly offset in it......
mocked it up and tacked it. works very well.

it was not fun..... I suggest that if you are wanting to do this, do a 2" body lift first ....
