I currently have the Newton 2.5" leveling kit. I am mainly looking for better ride since I spend 3 hours a day in the truck. I want to keep the same ride hight. So I am thinking PMF 3 link bars, Icon 2.5" springs and Bilstien 5160 resi shocks. I already have the Readylift trac bar fix in the truck, so I should be good there.

Does anyone have a similar set up to this? If the ride isn't going to be much better (not that its horrible now, just want it as smooth as possible) I guess I would just save my money and leave it the way it is and throw on the 5160 shocks.

Any and all input is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure Jeff with spartan is getting that exact same setup. You should PM him.

SAK: Would you go reservoir shocks or not? Can you PM me a price for what you are suggesting?

Thanks

My setup is going on tomorrow. Would have gone on today, but had a u-bolt delay.

I'll post my thoughts tomorrow night.

Sounds great. Thanks! If you don't mind, will you post the details of your setup when you let us know how it rides?

Thanks

Looks like it's going to be next week before I get everything on. There was a delay on the rear shocks due to back order and my guy can't get my truck in until tomorrow afternoon, which means if he doesn't finish it then I have to leave it overnight. That doesn't work for me because it's my daily driver. Shocks should ship out from AZ today, which means I'll have them early next week. Probably going to have everything installed next Wednesday.

Did I mention I hate waiting????

I hear you. Patience is a virtue I don't have either once I have pulled the trigger on something. Keep us updated once you get it all on.

So far I'm a happy camper. Just need to get my 3-link adjusted some.

I didn't like the ride I had with a 2.5" spacer and Bilstein 5100's at all. This is so much better. I'm sure some of it has to do with the 3-link but I think a lot of it is related to the progressive rate ICON coils and the 5160 shocks.

OK cool. I am planning on going the same route as you then. My truck is going to the alignment shop tomorrow because i finally got my 3-link adjusted and my steering wheel is a bit off.
