i see alot of guys with 12v swaps but not many 24v or comman rail why? also is there any one running a 24v with p-pumpe swap?
im not thinking about doing this anytime soon but rather getting ready with the right info, i still have the 6 speed to swap

I has thought about a 24v swap. Its a lot easier to do a 12v cause its a mainly mechanical engine so less to wire up. I was going with the 24v swap for the fact of the ability to tune on the fly. Its also a little pricier to do the 24v/common rail swap

there are wiring kit for the 24vand commonrail from ford cummins and fummins, i know the 24v and the common rail are harder but would the gain be worth it ??

Totally depends on your goals. I was going for a 500 HP dd so the 24v worked for me

dont really have hp goal but i would say 400 to 600hp i really dont know what the max hp is for the zf6, but would like to run twin turbos something that i cant do on my stoker with alot of time and money to make fit in the engine bay

Id say try and find a 24v then cause you have the on the fly tuning plus 400-600 on a 24v isn't hard or super expensive. Since your only looking for that HP lvl if say go for either the common rail or 24v and performance parts are farrr cheaper for the 24v. And with the zf6 you can always throw better parts to hold the power

That all depends on mods man. If your pushing more fuel then air then either will get hot quick
