My dad is about due for some new tires on his 2012 F-250. He is wanting to go to something a little larger than the 275/65/20 Michelin that he currently has on there. The truck is stock height and he doesn't have any plans for suspension modifications, so we're going to go to the biggest tire he can put on the factory 20's without rubbing anywhere. I know the fenders are different (slightly smaller it seems) on the newer trucks, so I figured he probably couldn't do quite as large of a tire as we can with the 08-10 trucks.

Thanks in advance!

I think something tall and skinny is going to be most appropriate. That way there is no chance for rubbing on the radius arms. It's hard to find something that matches that in an AT. I was thinking about the 295/60/20 that I use to run on my factory 20s. It's 34.5" tall and just over 12" wide.

My friends dad had 35x12.50 fierce mud terrains on his 17s and they don't rub at all except for when he has his plow on

I believe he is going to go with the 295/60/20 Terra Grappler. It's a heavy duty tire (perfect for the farm) and is noticeably larger than the factory size tires. At least that's what I found with my experience with them.

Probably a good choice, i have seen a couple trucks here with 35/12.5 on stock wheels and they do just fine. the inner fenders are a little better about rubbing than the 08s it seams, fender opening is the same or bigger too... but like i said i think you picked the right tire
