Shouldn't my TCC disengage when depressing the brake pedal during overdrive. This has been a known process for testing the TCC circuit but in my e99 4r100 it just keeps on stroking in OD.

How fast are you going when testing this out? IIRC, none of my TC's in my 7.3 trucks have ever unlocked til I got down to around 35-40mph. From pushing on the brakes, or just failure to be able to maintain a higher speed due to slow traffic.

55-60mph, just recalling the test from a gas burner standpoint. Wasn't sure of the 4r100

The 4r100 converter doesn't work the same as a gas converter, atleast from my experiences. My Denali will unlock and lock all day long going down the road. It locks after the od shift, where mine locks in 3rd. If you ask Mark Kovalsky, he will say it can, and will unlock in overdrive, but in over 200k miles using a 4r behind a 7.3, I have never had it unlock in overdrive.
